Of course, the mall is no stranger to paranormal activity. According to local historian Sandy Brooks, the area the mall now stands on was once home to a slaughterhouse. The owner of this slaughterhouse, George Wilson, did not just kill animals, but also (alledgely) humans. He lured people, specifically children to the house and murdered them. George's motive is unknown, some local urban legends say he might've been feeding the devil with the bodies of the most vulnerable.
Before the slaughterhouse, it was a home for some colonists before the revolution. There was a battle between colonists and English troops. Reportedly, there were an estimate of 700 deaths around the area. Some soldiers used the house as a means of defense/protection.
The most active area of the mall is the basement, this was originally where George Wilson dumped his victims' corpses. It is said that the spirits of children roam this area, they are always insisting visitors of bringing them home. George's spirit takes form of a shadow man, he is mostly spotted in the basement of the mall.
